Opps did I do that ..

Today while scanning the news items I saw this article.
It made me ponder, yet again, the WISE ONES elected in Califonia.

Understand, I try not to pick on California and the people that run the state’s day to day operations…but they OFFER SO MUCH in stupid actions….it is hard to resist.

Let me make sure I read it correctly – to summarize…

San Diego city council’s decided to boycott the Grand Canyon State.
So Arizonians and others are telling San Diego…to suck it…. they aren’t going to go to CA…..
“Would-be tourists have notified the San Diego Convention and Visitors Bureau and some hotels that they are canceling their scheduled travel to the coastal vacation destination, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune.”

Now the tourism officials are asking Arizonans to “.. consider the resolutions as merely symbolic and local politics at work.”
Guess someone forgot to tell the city council that <snicker> “Roughly 2 million Arizonans visit San Diego each year”

Not so much fun now is it…..

Arizona giving a symbolic gesture to California

While making this “symbolic” gesture of protest against another states laws,
looks like Arizona is making a “gesture” back.

It gives ME personal pleasure to notify a company in California that I am taking my business elsewhere to demonstrate MY support of Arizona to make their own laws, and to protest California BUTTING into another States right to enforce and govern itself.  To bad Arizona didn’t say they were canceling all that water they provide to Los Angeles…yet…

Suprise! That boycott works both ways.

Why is it okay for all these other groups, elected officials of other States to boycott Arizona for their Law.  Do other states boycott California because of THEIR laws, which I might add, a HUGE NUMBER of Americans don’t agree with???? No, California has the right to pick its own laws….  They should let the other states have the same privileges..
Do they not realize that they are actually turning people to Arizona? Not a bad thing….

But the absolute best from that article is :

” … Meanwhile, in San Diego, school board President Shelia Jackson said she is sorry people don’t want to come to her city, but she still supports her vote to boycott Arizona.
“It’s sad that people would cancel their plans to come here in reaction to that, but I still think we did the right thing,” Jackson told the Union-Tribune. “Certainly, we know how important tourism is to San Diego, and it wasn’t my intent to impact the tourism trade.” (Emphasis added)

DUH! What WERE you thinking? That it is okay to impact the tourism trade IN Arizona??   Stupid! Stupid! Stupid! You’re an Idiot. Let me speculate…OH Boy! We can score political points and look good to our constituents..by protesting another states laws….maybe we will get re-elected…  Uh huh… Hope that works out for you. Actually it probably will. That being California…… Psst! Have you seen the numbers on how many Californians actually support  “protesting” against Arizona’s law? Not that a majority of Californian’s support the law, but they certainly don’t support you BUTTING IN with your boycotts.

Of course California isn’t the only group in another state to “boycott” Arizona. There is the “famous” School Board  that stopped their championship basketball team from going… Query? Whom is that hurting? Yeah…I suspect its hurting your HARD WORKING basketball team… You too are an IDIOT…

Why dont you let Arizona form its on laws….and lets see what happens before you cry wolf.  Instead of speculating on what MIGHT happen, lets see what actually happens.

Any governmental group outside Arizona that boycotts, or protests another states law…should be boycotted by the rest of America.

Just my opinion of course…….  But oddly enough, one that is shared by many others…..
